Transit Plaza: Mountain View, CA

This four-acre redevelopment site at 200-310 Evelyn Avenue in downtown Mountain View was purchased from Southern Pacific Railroad in partnership with Corporate Systems Center, Inc. Two office/research and development buildings totaling +/-60,000 square feet were designed on this property in concert with the demolition of numerous existing buildings and structures located on the site. At the time of purchase, the site was classified as a toxically contaminated Superfund site. The land was immediately redeveloped, all monitoring wells were destroyed, and toxic clearances were obtained from the Santa Clara Valley Water District.
